Zebras!

I had an opportunity to take Landon to a preschool class at the zoo. He had a blast. The topic of the day was zebras. Landon even learned a little song that he still sings two weeks later! They couldn't fit a zebra into the classroom so they had two smaller animals for show and tell. Some African snake of some sort. I'm fuzzy on the details because I am trying to block out the image of a snake being within inches of me! Landon actually touched the snake, but I passed.

They then brought out a black and white rabbit for the kids to touch as well. Landon started sneezing afterwards so I guess there will never be any pet rabbits in our house.

I think we both liked the craft portion the best. Landon and I are always doing little art projects at home so we were equally excited to be making a bobble head zebra.

Savannah

A few weeks back we took a family trip to Savannah. It was the first family trip (my mom, siblings, Landon and I) ever. The last family trip that we took together was probably the cruise seven years ago, which of course didn't include Landon. It was nice to get away for a few. It was a quick trip, but we had a lot of fun. I fell in love with Savannah. It was so pretty there. I now day dream about moving there. I also love that it isn't too far away. It's the perfect distance for a quick weekend get a way.

We went the weekend before St. Patty's Day. Savannah goes crazy for St. Patty's Day. All of the fountains had green water coming out, which I think was Landon's favorite part of the weekend.

Tink often rode in the stroller with Landon.

Landon loved the lion statues. He wouldn't leave until I took a picture. He kept saying "cheese" over and over again.

I loved all of the purple trees!
Boys will be boys- chasing each other with sticks!

The cause of my near heart attack! I had no clue this huge snake was behind me. When I turned around his head stuck up towards me and I seriously almost died. I was shaking for a long while after wards. She really should have a warning crew come ahead of her. You know, like those "wide load" signs on the back of cars to warn you that there is a wide load ahead. She needed a snake warning crew so that people wouldn't have a hard time breathing and almost having a heart attack.

Landon's 1st trip to the zoo

Yesterday we took Landon to the zoo for the first time. It was a beautiful day out and didn't rain once like we thought it would. Besides my getting sun burnt and Landon peeing on me as we were leaving it was a great day. Landon loved all of the animals. Much to my dismay Landon especially loved all of the snakes. He would hit their glass enclosures to get their attention.

Of course Landon also loved the monkeys. He even brought home a stuffed monkey as a souvenir. Landon was so cute in his zoo outfit. People should have paid us admission to get in to the park to see such an adorable baby! I put him in a little one piece outfit the had monkeys all over it and to top it off he wore his monkey hat.

My mom bought a zoo membership so we will be able to take Landon back as often as we want throughout the year. It is so nice that we have a zoo so close. On those weekends where we have nothing to do and am wanting to get out we will be able to go to the zoo. Below will be a ton of pictures from the zoo.
